Authorship

Due to data protection requirements, the Product Register for Chemicals (RPC) is based on the principle of authorship: all user accounts linked to the same notifier can view all public information in the Product Register for Chemicals (RPC) and make changes.

Only the confidential information, i.e.

  • the composition
  • Information on quantities
  • Information on nanomaterials and
  • Uploaded documents depending on their selected confidentiality level

are appropriated to the user account that entered them (authorship). That means for example only the user who entered the composition is able to see it. Confidential data cannot be viewed by other users of the same swiss notifier, but may be overwritten by them without access to the existing one.
