Due to data protection requirements, the Product Register for Chemicals (RPC) and therefore each notification type (preparations, biocides, substances, etc.) is based on the principle of authorship:
Only the confidential information, i.e.
- the composition
- In the case of substances and preparations dangerous to the environment: the quantity likely to be placed on the market annually
- Information on nanomaterial
are assigned to the user account that entered them (authorship). Depending on your selection, access to uploaded documents can be restricted.
The confidential information about the authorship can initially only be viewed by the user account (author) that entered the information. The authorship can then either
- be shared by the author with user accounts from the same company (Sharing or replacing information protected by the authorship (admin.ch))
- be replaced by main users and sub-users internal within the same company. The existing data will not be revealed, but deleted for the entry of new information (Sharing or replacing information protected by the authorship (admin.ch))
Important:
The main users of the company are not automatically authorised to access all the authorship (LINK Rollen).
All non-confidential information can be accessed and edited by main users and sub-users internal within the same company in the RPC. Some of this data is also published for the general public.
