Obligations according the Nagoya ordinance
This Regulation regulates access to and use of genetic resources and related traditional knowledge, as well as the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from such use.
For substances and preparations developed using genetic resources or with traditional knowledge related to them, the manufacturer must
- inform on his own initiative the notification authority
- indicated the registration number pursuant to art. 4 of the Nagoya Ordinance (NagO, RS 451.61), as a proof of the NagO notification submitted to FOEN
