Switzerland is the evaluating authority
Here you will find information on applications according to the EU harmonised procedure for which Switzerland is the evaluating authority (applications for national authorisation AL, applications for simplified authorisation, applications for union authorisation and new active substances).
The Notification Authority for Chemicals decides twice a year (April/October) which applications can be evaluated. Interested companies must contact the Notification Authority in advance and complete a completeness list. We ask that you to contact us as early as possible (> 1 year before the planned submission of the application). After a positive decision and a deposit of 20% of the application fee, preparations for the pre-submission meeting begin.
